PoWer Hour
All PoWer Hour forms have been turned in from our classroom. If you did not send in a form, then we, I and the student, talked about the choices and the student picked the four things they were interested in.

What we did today:
- Today was problem solving day in Room 9.
- We started off by interviewing a partner and asking about something that they do not like doing or something they do not like. Then each person was to be an inventor and come up with something that would help their partner with what they did not like. Once plans had been finalized, they were allowed to go to the Idea Lab and create their invention.
- During Math, our problem was how to record the relationships we found on paper because we all could not record our thoughts on the smart board. We are drawing them into our visual journal.
- This afternoon with our Grade 4 buddies, we had to create the tallest freestanding structure/thing with 7 sheets of paper and masking tape. There were some very creative ideas and some even passed the wind test. So far our tallest was 99cm and withstood wind from all four sides.
- There was lots of planning, building, testing, thinking, rebuilding, testing, thinking, etc. today.
Daily Challenge:
During our sight word soccer game, we started working with a word that had four letters and the third letter was ‘k’. Can you think of some words that might work?
(_ _ k _) How many can you share on the blog?
