Jersey Day – April 12, 2018
To show our support of the Humbolt Broncos and their community, a group of BC hockey moms have planned a jersey day to remember the bus crash victims. Thursday, April 12, the students are encouraged to wear their favorite jersey or, if they don’t have one, wear green.

What we have done today:
- We played Off the Board. (CG)
- We went to gym and we played badminton with different partners every 5 minutes and different strategies. (CL)
- We went to music and we sang Old Brass Wagon and practiced a little bit of our Music Monday song. (KW)
- We had science and we went in partners and measuring with thermometers the temperature of different cups of water. (MH)
- We had language arts and some of us are starting to type our stories onto the computer. (BS)
- We had Book Study while waiting our turn for a teacher conference about our Blackfoot/Inuit stories. (WF)
- We had poetry folders and we practiced our poems with a partner. (JR)
- In Math, we worked on our unlikely addition stories. We are going to make a class book.
Daily Challenge:
Share with your family how it felt to keep getting different partners when playing badminton. What else did you notice? What would it be like to play this game with a real net up?
