What we have done today:
- We played bump in the morning. (JW)
- We went to the gym and practiced floor hockey skills like stick handling and shooting the puck at cones. (GH)
- We had quiet reading for 10 minutes. (CG)
- We had our last round of math centers. (EH)
- We started a new round of learning centers. (IH)
- We had social studies and we looked at a picture that we took at Fort Calgary. We looked at making a hypothesis about things we observe from things (artifacts) that come from the past. (HM)
- We responded in our journals about a story we listened to called, How Do Dinosaurs Stay Friends? (JW and BD)
- We had a fire drill. (LB)
Daily Challenge:
Today we watched a Magic School Bus video about making a hypothesis about how an artifact was used in the past. What is a hypothesis? What happens when you learn that your hypothesis is wrong? Who makes these kinds of hypothesizes about things from the past?
