What have we learned today:
Please note that we have changed our way of describing our day. Instead of sharing what we have done today, we are sharing what we may have learned personally or together as a large group.
- We learned how to move and build in Minecraft EDU during a Grade One Superstorm. (GO)
- We learned it takes a long time to plan out our community. (MJ-S)
- In music, I learned a new game bouncing a ball while singing keeping a steady beat. (HL)
- In learning centers, I learned to do a new activity with letter stickers, making words and then putting those words into sentences. (GO)
- I learned how to make a boat that can float in water and push itself in the Grade 5 Electronic Fair. (CG)
- I learned that I need to sound out words when working in the teacher center. (KH)
- I learned it was hard to organize a community. (EE)
- I learned in gym that if it is raining hard that we need to go back inside. (LB)
Daily Challenge:
Today, we started to organize where a few of the buildings will be built in our community. We discovered that this takes time taking into consideration the needs of the building, like the gas station needing room for the cars to drive in and out or the sirens of the emergency vehicles. Discuss with your family or observe where the different buildings are located in your own community.
