Hello Everyone,
Field Trip – Glenbow Museum
We are excited to be going to the Museum. Make sure your child has a lunch, hat, mitts, and coat. We will wear our indoor shoes to the museum so we will not have to take our boots. There are fountains on each floor so that students may get a drink of water.
We have discussed the below guidelines and we are aware to be mindful of these guidelines.
Glenbow Museum Guidelines:
The Museum has many items which are fragile and valuable. Also, at any given time there are tours/programs which run concurrently. We ask that all visitors adhere to the guidelines outlined below:
• No food, drink, chewing gum, or backpacks/bags allowed in exhibit areas
• Please do not touch any artifacts, unless otherwise indicated by Glenbow signage
• Areas with a "Quiet Please" sign indicate that a tour/program is in progress
• Please seek permission from Glenbow staff if you wish to photograph and/or videotape part of an exhibit or program
Learning centers:
We are going to be writing Thankful postcards. The students will be writing to someone hopefully in their own household. If they are writing to someone not in their primary residence, then please send the address with your student so they can address their postcard.
Library:
We are having a Super Circle for our Spring Concert on Tuesdays and then gym with the other grade 2 classes. This means we will be moving our library time to Thursdays at 1pm until spring break.
