A huge THANK YOU to Heather, Dale, and Tara for volunteering and helping us explore the science center.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Teacher’s Pet In-School Field Trip
We will be traveling back in time to the heart of an Acadian village. We will learn all about the daily life of a hustling and bustling Acadian village. We will need 3 volunteers to help run the stations as the students move from station to station throughout the morning. You will need to be here around 8:45am and you will be done by 11ish. Please let Angela know if you are able to volunteer. Thank you

What we have done today:
- We went to the Telus Spark Science Center. We learned
- about Hot and Cold
- how the center heats and cools itself
- different coloured pipes are for different things
- that when everyone gets together it creates heat
- explored different areas in the center
- about how they cut and shape wood using a turning tool called a lathe
- about potable and non-potable water. At the center they use non-potable water to flush the toilets and as a joke had a toilet with potable water as a drinking fountain. And some of us drank out of it.
Daily Challenge:
Share with your family some things you noticed and learned while at the Telus Spark Science Center.
