Poetry Party:
We will be starting something new very soon. The students are very excited to begin this process. The orange duo-tang has the letter inside of it. The duo-tang will need to be brought back to the school on Fridays and Mondays. If the student wishes, it could go back and forth everyday if the student would like to use their quiet reading time to practice. This gives the family a chance to look over the poem on the weekend and if there are any questions, they can be asked on Monday.
Wangari Musical – Feb. 8 and 9.
We are splitting the school in half according to their last names. If your child’s last name begins with a letter between A and L, they will be performing on Wednesday night. If you child’s last name begins with a letter between M and Z, they will be performing on Thursday night.
I am trying to organize narrators for our part in the musical. Some of the students were saying that they were not coming to the musical. I would appreciate an email letting me know if you child cannot attend their night. Thank you
