Hello Everyone,
Year-end celebration for Room 9
We are going to do an experiment to see what happens when we add salt to ice and then put cream, sugar, and vanilla into the ice mixture (in a separate bag). Supposedly after it gets shaken for 5 minutes we are going to see the effects of cold on a liquid.
This is an experiment that we will be able to eat. If there are a couple of parents who would like to send in some chopped fruit to eat with our experiment that would be really appreciated. Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc. are good choices. Please let Beccy, our room coordinator, know. Thank you.
Yearbook
We are doing Yearbook signing on Friday, June 22, 2018 after the Sports Day activities.
This is a chance for students to move about and get their classmates, school friends, and teachers to sign their yearbook.
If you did not purchase a yearbook with the fees at the beginning of the year, there is a limited amount of yearbooks for purchase. Each yearbook is $18.00 and must be purchased with a cheque or cash (exact amount, no change will be given) in the office.
First come, first served with payment.
Each student that has not purchased a yearbook will be given a specially designed autograph page that can be signed by classmates. Please check with your child’s teacher as they will have a list of those who have purchased yearbooks.
