Hello Everyone,
Poetea Party/Music performance:
We have added a special performance to our Poetea Party on June 8th. The students in room 9 have been practicing singing a song in a round as well as using instruments. They would like to share their performance before the Poetea Party. We will start in the Music room at 8:15am and then move down to Room 9 afterwards for the poetry recitation. We will try and record this performance to try and share it with those who were unable to come on June 8th.
Art Project
We need everyone to bring in a jar for a project for someone. No bigger than a mason jar but bigger than a baby food jar. It can have a lid or not. We will need the jar by Monday, June 11. Please let Miss Konno know if you cannot supply a jar.
Lates:
This week we have started a plan to DECREASE the number of late at our school in the morning. Music plays from 8:00-8:05 followed by our morning announcements. Students are encouraged to get to their classrooms BEFORE the music ends. From Monday-Thursday this week, we had 129 lates....we hope to see this number go down each week.
