Hello Everyone,
Spring Concert – Water Dance
We are excited to present our Spring Performance of Water Dance on March 21st and 22nd. The staff and students have been working hard on songs, dances, and artwork.
Students with last names beginning with A to L will perform on Wednesday afternoon and Wednesday night.
Students with last names beginning with M to Z will perform on Thursday morning and Thursday night.
We ask that the students wear blue or green shirts without any letters, images, or logos and dark pants.
If your child is not able to attend the evening performance, please contact your child's teacher and let them know.
Learning centers:
We have been writing Thankful postcards. The students have been writing to someone hopefully in their own household. If they are writing to someone not in their primary residence, then please send the address with your student so they can address their postcard. Most of the postcards have been mailed.
Library:
We are having a Super Circle for our Spring Concert on Tuesdays and gym with the other grade 2 classes. This means we will be moving our library time to Thursdays at 1pm until spring break.

Up coming dates:
What we have done today:
- We had Read to Buddy. (NH)
- We went to the library and read a story called, “If I Had a Griffin”. (DC)
- We had our last time with these learning centers. (JR)
- We had social studies and we worked on our Inuit or Blackfoot story plans. (JB)
- We math and we played Pick a Path with two 10 dice. (ES)
- We went to the gym and we got to ‘peel a banana’ during a dance and play Everybody’s It Tag. (PM)
- We wrote our paragraphs to go with our “cracking our egg” sentence. We have found out that it is sometimes harder than we think and sometimes easier than we think.
Daily Challenge:
Share with your family what made playing Pick a Path with 10 dice different? Was it easier or more challenging to play this time?
