Hello everyone,
Canstruction Club just began this week with the grade 5 and 6’s who signed up! We will be designing and creating a structure out of non-perishable food items as part of a contest in partner with the Mayor’s 28th Annual Christmas Food Drive for the Calgary Food Bank. The project is called Canstruction Jr. We are asking for donations to help us build our structure and are specifically looking for green items such as cans and boxes that are green in colour. A variety of sizes would be great. Thanks in advance for your support with this! We look forward to showing your our finished product.
Please contact Mrs.Blanchard or Mrs.Hammond with with questions.

What we have done today:
Daily Challenge:
Share with your family the Go Ten game. It is like Go Fish but you ask for a number that would make a 10 in your hand. If that person does not have that number, they would tell you to Go Fish or they hand over that card and 10 is put down on the table. We are practicing our friendly numbers or 10 buddies for automaticity. If you get a 10 in your hand, you just put the card down. Play until all the ‘fish’ are gone. Deal 3-4 cards per person depending on how many are playing.
