We are going on a field trip!!
We will be loading the bus at 9:15am. Please make sure that your child has a backpack, lunch, snacks, and leak-proof water bottle. We talked about being respectful in and around the different venues we will be visiting, like keeping our hands to ourselves, respectful voices, listening, etc. The students will come in as they would usually do and pack up their backpacks with their visual journal and pencil case.
Fun Lunch for November 18th.
Please note that there is a Fun Lunch scheduled when we are on a field trip on November 18th. If you have ordered a lunch, you can go back in and cancel the order now and you can use the money towards your next purchase. We do not have the facilities to refrigerate the orders and make sure that they get home in a timely fashion.
Book Fair
There will be no library book exchanges next week, as we will have a Book Fair set up in the Library for the Parent-Teacher conferences. We will be going to have a preview during our library time on Wednesday and then books can be purchased Thursday evening and Friday morning. A portion of the book purchases go towards adding to our own school library.
We have had a talk that the preview is to make a wish list. This wish list is for books we want to have but it is our parents who decide to which books we get.

Daily Challenge:
We played a game called, ‘Face Off’. Discuss the rules with your family. It might sound similar to a game that has a different name. Can you remember what that different name was? Look at the cards below, which person gets both cards and how do you know? (hint: what words am I looking for)
