Library
Currently our library exchange day is Wednesday after recess. The students are taking out books that they have an interest in. When we are more comfortable with the process of signing out books, then the students may have other opportunities to exchange books on other days. Mrs. Cornford is in the library on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday until around 1:30pm. The students were allowed to take two books out if they wanted. Not everyone chose this option and some are happy with just one book at this time.

Daily Challenge:
Today we looked at our ‘Magic Numbers’. These are numbers that are special to us like our age, birthdate, house number, number of people in our family, number of pets, years doing a favourite activity, etc. This demonstrates to the students that there are numbers everywhere. Discuss with your family some numbers that are special for your family and if you are comfortable share them in the blog. The students can add them to their journal tomorrow if would like to record them somewhere.
